The Data Analyst is skilled in turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into programming guidance. She aids the Safe Community Institute Director in developing and maintaining a step-by-step plan for how to accurately report on crime trends and statistical data as part of the Glenda Gordy Research Center so that the public can better understand crime data in Houston and Harris County. She is primarily responsible for acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources and creating/maintaining the crime dashboard on the Glenda Gordy Research Center microsite.
